Job Description As an Account Manager , you'll work with the Business Development Managers (BDM's) and solution architects to drive revenue opportunities. As an Account Manager, you will focus on understanding all aspects of the business within an account and will work towards growing revenue through repeat business. You'll be the key player in generating business within existing accounts and will be responsible for building solid relationships. Key Responsibilities and Duties Accountable for a sales quota within a range of marketsMeet with clients and Microsoft representatives to discuss customer challenges & needs. Work closely with business development managers to support net/new revenue opportunities that they have identified. Work and direct solution architects, TAG, and UX to define project scope, estimations and presentations. The account manager will lead the proposal generation process.Ensure client expectations are met throughout the sales and execution process and work closely with Infusion's delivery organization to provide support during project execution. Ensure the language in contracts and proposals meets both the needs of our customers and Infusion in terms of delivery accountability and signoff. Provide continuity between sales and delivery by clearly communicating expectations during the hand off between delivery and sales, and participating in the project kick-off. Work closely with the business managers to drive proposals and SOWs through Infusion's approval system.Assist in maintaining account plans for key accounts and strategic growth areas.Work closely with marketing to drive case studies, PR opportunities, key conference participation, and Microsoft program participation Enhance staff morale through regular sync ups, team/account events, and appropriate escalations to management. Drive repeated revenue by proactively engaging existing customers with opportunities for project extensions. Assist in management of execution team leads and provide project and annual reviews for team leads based on their projects. Provide weekly opportunity summaries and updates for new business activity. Provide updated pipeline details for opportunities in the sales cycle. Work closely with TAG on estimate approvals, technology risks and recommendations through the sales process. Work closely with the business managers to communicate resource needs and options. Work closely with marketing to drive generation of relevant PR opportunities, case studies, and web site material. Key Experiences Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering or related education 3+ years of development experience, with expertise in more than one of our core technologies; as well as, in-depth knowledge of one or more business vertical(s). Has played a leadership role on two or more mid-size projects. A technical background with experience in sales of software services.Experience in project scoping and developing statement of work documents and proposals. Experience building compelling demos and POCs with aggressive timelines.Has superior client relationship management expertise and a desire to help drive sales opportunities to closure. Has demonstrated the ability to establish a working relationship with clients, through frequent direct communication. Strong understanding of the project lifecycle, having been a key member of more than one successful end to end, mid-size project implementation.
